Maccabi Victoria Fundraising Campaign 23 May 2017

Posted: 04-May-2017 by Maccabi VIC

It's How We Connect

“ Not many couples meet at a long jump pit – but we did at the athletics 1960/61 Perth carnival. After 52 years of marriage, 5 great ,sporting kids and 11 ‘sports mad’ grandchildren, we are still totally connected to Maccabi”.
Freda and Harry Cashmore

As we gear up towards our Maccabi fundraising campaign on 23/24 May, the financial support of our community is crucial in helping us to continue:

Engaging and inspiring our children to be active and reaching their full potential

         Equipping our clubs for success

Giving every child a chance to play regardless of ability or financial means

Implementing sustainable development and leadership programs

Providing a point of contact and connection to Jewish heritage, often forging lifelong friendships

Our 23 clubs operate entirely through the tireless efforts of volunteers.

We have been performing a community service for over 90 years, having a positive impact on thousands of lives across the state. These programs engage our members in a healthy and supportive environment; giving them the opportunity to be part of a team, a club and a worldwide Jewish organisation.

Your support for Maccabi’s 24 hour all or nothing Campaign, on 23/24 May 2017 will enable us to encourage, motivate and mentor more lives in 2017 and beyond.

We are looking for volunteers to help us phone and reach our goal. If you have some time, even an hour to help us, please call us on 9563 5885 to register.
